What is SCinet?

SCinet is the world's fastest and most robust network during the annual SC conference. It delivers a dedicated, high-capacity network infrastructure meticulously crafted by volunteer experts from various sectors, including industry, academia, and government. Each year, SCinet assembles and maintains this network using equipment, software, and services generously contributed by leaders in the industry.

  • 450 wireless access points installed across the GWCC in Atlanta GA
  • 8.41 Tbps Wide area network bandwidth from 33 circuits
  • 36 Network Research Exhibition Experiments
  • 7 full-sized trucks of equipment consisting of 95 SCinet crates and pallets, and 15 contributor pallets
